Student Formation in Online Education

Presented by

The Australian College of Theology and Ridley Melbourne

One of the major drawbacks of distance education is the difficulty in effective Christian formation of students. Ron Hannaford was Director of Distance Learning at Fuller Theological Seminary in California (2002-2009) and is now Director of Distance Learning at Biola University. Ron is completing a PhD on formation through distance education and will provide theoretical and practical thinking on this topic.

As a result of attending this workshop distance education providers will be able to take some concrete steps to better form the character and ‘soft skills’ of distance students.

Please see the Ridley website for the slides to accompany the seminar.
